Clete has worked on the origination side of the commercial real estate finance arena since 2002. During this time, his efforts contributed to the closing of more than $200 million in transactional loan volume representing nearly $1 billion in overall project value. His primary focus has been on providing equity and mezzanine “gap” financing for a variety of Acquisition, Development and Construction projects including: land development, in-fill condominium buildings, assisted living facilities, office condominiums, mixed-use projects, condominium conversions, and other “value-add” scenarios with loan sizes ranging from $1 million to $15 million. These loans have been placed through major Wall Street institutions, hedge funds and boutique specialty lenders, all firms he represented at the time.
